Anacapri on Park Island - Phase 6 Park Island has a new name!

It looks like the Phase 6 development will be called AnaCapri. Here is the link of the Anacapri website: Anacapri Park Island.

The villas have been named Block 32 Park Island (Sun Ocean), Block 33 Park Island (Luna Ocean), and Block 35 Park Island (Aqua Ocean). They missed out Block 34, due to Chinese superstitions about the number which is considered unlucky.

It seems that prices for the Phase 6 Park Island villas will be put here: Park Island Phase 6 Prices.

About AnaCapri
I will post up more details soon along with a few further thoughts. I am asking a sales agent to show me around next week and I'll snap a few photos.

  1. Love the way they have photoshopped out that light house thing and cleaned up that filthy little beach!

Are you thinking of buying one?

  2. These are going to be awesome. But they will also come at an awesome price. So, if you still think a downturn will come then you could wait to buy one then. The timing of the market shows prices have not quite bottomed yet. But yes long term Ana Capri will be a very good investment due to the ocean views and high quality and best apartment on Park Island.

  3. Thank you for an very informative and useful blog. I actually already invested in Park Island and am now considering Anacapri due to its potential. Do you have any specifics on prices? Is there a published price list for the Anacapri apartments?

  4. Just curious, how is the transportation from the myriad of apartments to the pier on the island? Is it quick and easy in the morning?

    1. Very easy, in fact for me its one of the things I enjoy most. I travel to Central 3 times a week, and work from home the other days. In the morning a ferry comes every 15 minutes. Its always on time, and you always get a seat. Modern, clean, and no adverts blaring or music etc that you would get in a bus or taxi. Most people grab a coffee from the pier, and then read the newspaper on the way over, or read on their ipads or phones. Trip takes 21 minutes to Central, and from there you can grab a taxi, bus, or walk to MTR station. Also its a nice way to meet residents and sometimes I sit with friends on the island and chat with them on the way over.

  5. Agree with Park Island Blogger - trip is very easy and an excellent opprtunity to wind down. Also the walk from the apartments could serve as a winding down process with a bit of exercise thrown in. The furthest apartment from the pier would take approximately 8-9 mins gentle walking. Brisk walking would narrow it to about 6 mins I reckon. The apartments closest to the pier would probably take no more than 2 mins walk to the pier.
As for buses, you get two more (short) stops after the terminus serving apartments in phase 5 and 3 and also the village. Buses go to Tsing Yi, Kwai Fong, Tsuen Wan and HK Airport. Tsing Yi buses are very frequent/popular and it is a 10 minutes ride but no guaratntee of seats if you get on at a later stop. All in all, transportation is much better than what is frequently touted as "inconvenient". I went to Lam Tin from Central yesterday during peak hours and it took me 50 minutes in cramped MTR. I call that stressful.

  6. It is better compared with Discovery Bay since a lot of apartments require a additional bus ride from the ferry pier. In general the journey time beats quite a lot of other forms of transportation - no traffic jam being one good reason :)

  7. See comments on another conversation on the comparison with DB.

  8. I would be fair to say Anacapri is on par with the penthouse level apartments on Park Island. There r pros and cons. Penthouses have much higher open views of course and location of Towers is closer to club houses. Anacapri is more exclusive and will likely be the first to get cars allowed if they are ever approved as they already have allocated parking spaces there,
