Anacapri Villas are now available for rent
Asking prices for Anacapri are apparently from 50K and upwards. A number of agents have shown the apartments to prospective tenants, only to have some decide to move to a Park Island tower apartment, which was not the initial intention of the prospective tenants when they came for a viewing.
If you are an Anacapri tenant, or owner, please feel free to post here and tell us what its like!

Recently taken possession of a 4 br unit facing the ferry. Quality is top class and very quiet. Walkway on the podium level has a luxury feel too! Should be very attractive to other expats.
ReplyDeleteGreat. Any pix? Can you let us know the rental you are paying and thesize you have?
Delete$36,500 for 1423 sq feet 4 br flat.
DeleteWow - nice one! Hard to imagine but people are paying more than this for crap on Lamma! Please post some pics if you get the chance.
DeleteDoes Anacapri have a new small clubhouse? If yes, is that clubhouse only for Anacapri residents not regular Park Island residents?
ReplyDeleteFrom my apartment (Block 31) I can see some pool (relatively small compared to the other PI ones), but I just see workers not any residents there. Also the pool water is a greenish color right now.
Lovely sea views and excellent build quality. Equipment also top rate. Very attractive to expats looking for peace and quiet with great quality. Space is generous too.
ReplyDeleteThe rent for Anacapri apartments are not from HK$50000 and upwards but rather from HK$32000 for the smaller 1137 sq.ft.units.
ReplyDeleteHow much for the larger ones? Is it under 50000?
DeleteHoly shit, the index just publihed today says property is moving back up, with Park Island up around 3%. Still down a but from last few weeks but it might be that now is the turning point for the next climb!
ReplyDeleteDo you need to broadcast every little price movement here? So what a little up or down. Unless you can afford the deposit who cares? Gloat all you want if you own as it was probably family money that got you on the ladder if u r local.
ReplyDeleteThe more important point is that PI is still of excellent value compared with other developments. Still the best kept secret. Prices move up and down but PI still looks good even if it is 10% more expensive!
ReplyDeleteI agree. It's long amazed me how "unknown" Park Island is, considering how nice it is there. To me it seems to be extremely good value for money.
Delete50K and upwards I would think.
ReplyDeleteWe have just moved into an apartment at Ana Capri and absolutely love it - apart from the amazingly stupid decision to not allow anyone to use the pool! Because of worries of noise, no-one can actually use the pool - you can only 'book' it for £3000 a time. This seems a huge waste of what is an amazing pool, seemingly at the behest of a few selfish residents. Management claim this is an experiment for a year but I think if more people knew surely they would object and hopefully reverse this policy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments Plumbeus. Glad you are enjoying Ana Capri. Any pics you can send? My email is ParkIslandProperty@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteRegarding the pool fee on Anacapri, I presume you mean HKD $3000, but either way, this sounds crazy! What on earth are they thinking? This is also arguably misleading if it was not pointed out to original buyers and/or tenants, so I would think such people might have a possible basis for complaint or legal action on this.
I can understand the charge for outsiders, but not for actual Anacapri residents. So does it essentially mean that if you live at Anacapri, you need to walk over to one of the other Park Island pools? I presume you have access to all those?
PS, for reference, can you tell us your size of unit and the rent you pay?
Also, any updates on carparks there for residents? Is that something that is in the pipeline for the future?
I've been considering the Anacapri also but ideally prefer a large size or top level rooftop apartment although they are hard to come by at present.
ReplyDeleteAnon, you should also consider the combined units (2 units combined with a balcony), which might also suit your needs and at lower price probably.
