New Park Island Bus Schedule - proposed connection from Park Island to Mongkok

There is currently a proposal for a new bus connection to Mongkok being considered.


If you support this proposal, please do attend the meeting on 19th August 2014. If you are unable to make it please express your support by sending an email or fax, noting your apartment address.

    I like Park Island for visiting but also if lived there would be good to go to Mong Kok directly.

    of course it would be great but in reality it will be another drain on the money and lead to further reduction of connections to Central (which is where the real money comes from that drives property in Wan Man). Hence i do not support this Mong Kok connection

Pool facilities on Park Island

My favorite pool on Park Island is the outdoor pool at the Blue Blue Club. Blue Blue Club Outdoor Pool Right now, as things warm up, one thing I enjoy is eating a meal overlooking the pool, and then having a relaxing swim, followed by relaxation the jacuzzie. I usually swim 2 to 3 times a week, and I find it a great form of exercise. One thing I really like about Park Island is that apart being surrounded by ocean (where you can swim if you wish) there are a large number of resort-style pools to chose from on the island. The Blue Blue club has the outdoor pool (pictured above) and an excellent Olympic style indoor pool (pictured below), also with 3 jacuzzie (one large mixed-sex one, and then one each in the mens and ladies rooms, along with steam saunas, dry saunas, etc). When will private cars be allowed on Park Island?

As promised, here is an update on the discussions I have had with the Hong Kong Planning Department and the Hong Kong Transport Department. First, below is the actual response I received in relation to submissions and inquiries related to allowing access and car parking for private cars for Park Island residents.  This office has consulted Transport Department on your proposal. T his email serves as a coordinated reply by Planning Department and Transport Department. The construction of the Airport Core Projects had impacts on the planning for Ma Wan. The Hong Kong International Airport at Chek Lap Kok is about 12km to the west. The Lantau Link, which is the major transport link between Lantau and the urban area, passes over Ma Wan.
