Ma Wan viewed from above

Here is some pretty cool aerial film footage of Park Island and Ma Wan shot with a GoPro and a drone.

I thought for a moment it might peep into my apartment but fortunately its not that invasive. Also has some pretty cool footage of the old village part of Ma Wan.

  1. HSBC valuation for Park Island just up over the weekend. You could check the value here https://www.hsbc.com.hk/1/2/hk/mortgages/valuation

  2. My view is that HSBC valuations are quite conservative. As a rough guide, the market price should be 10% over bank valuation. But yet, they do appear to going up. Not rapidly, but slowly and steadily.

  3. Right now the Chinese Government is meeting to consider the growth plans for long term planning on the Pearl Delta region. Ma Wan is smack in the middle of the major strategic regions, so I foresee a strong future in terms of demand for Park Island property. Prices are still entry level for an investor on Park Island.

  4. Love your drone clip too.

  5. There is a RED TIDE right now around Ma Wan. Can you capture it on a drone recording?

  6. CCI HK property prices update out today.

  7. Prices up 1% this week according to the CCI. Anyone who sold recently thinking market was peaked is very foolish.

  8. Its a little harsh to call a seller foolish. Yes, prices have moved up again recently, and appear likely to for the rest of the year or so, but we don't know for sure how rapidly the US will raise rates so some owners are naturally a bit concerned and might want to lock in their profits. Also who knows maybe a seller is selling to buy a larger place. If prices keep going up that might also be a good move. In short you don't know a person's individual circumstances, and even if prices keep going up they may have had good reason to sell (eg moving overseas, a better investment opportunity has presented itself, etc).
