Park Island property prices hit a record high end of August 2015
Park Island property prices hit a new record high end of August 2015.
Below is the most recent graph:
If you look at the end of the graph, you will see a massive 10.86% jump in prices over the last month.
Below are the current average prices (gross PSF and net PSF):
The data is taken from Centadata HK property price data website (which is the same source I have primarily used in previous updates).
For Park Island property owners who have been agonizing over recent stock market losses, take some comfort that at least your property investment continues to rise in value.

ReplyDeleteWont keep rising the the stock market keeps tanking.
ReplyDeleteMARKET WILL GO UP A LOT NEXT YEARS AS CHINA MONEY PRINTING WILL GO TO HK PROPERTY.ONLY A FOOL WILL SELL NOW AS MORE SMART FOOLS FROM CHINA WILL KEEP BUYING.
ReplyDeleteyes, chinese buyers are booming at the moment. as limited to buy in Chinese cities they will all start to buy in HK again
DeleteUp or down dont really matter as a home is a home to live in. Only really matters if you plan to sell and retire somewhere and leave HK whcih many HK people never really do.
ReplyDeleteAh yes the neverending Chinese bubble that just keeps on giving and giving to HK. Well giving to those who have a foot in the market already. Maybe China can keep this going another 20 years but there will be bumps and pumps all along the way.
ReplyDeleteThey are saying prices might have peaked now and could call 5% next 3 years. Even so I cant even fathom how people can afford to buy property in HK.
ReplyDeleteHello all park island residents, my name is Susan Tang, I just movie it at the Park Island. I am looking for a cat as my company. ReplyDeleteAny tips for 2016? A good time to invest in Park Island?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say now is a GREAT time to invest. That happens only every 7 years or so in HK. But yes, I still think now is a good time to buy. Long term Park Island will do very well and we will look back on today's prices as being bargains.
ReplyDeletelooks like the property market in HK is picking up steem again. thanks foe a very good site. I am looking to buy on Park Island as I feel prices are definately going to go up sharply.
ReplyDeleteYes definitely seems like we are in for another upwards cycle.
